Benefits & Perks:
- All new employee will be enrolled in the BCBS Health Savings Account (HSA). Robeson County deposits $950 into each employees HSA account on August 1st of every year.
- An employee earns 8 hours sick leave each month (12 days per year).
- Vacation Leave is earned based on years of service as listed below for employees:
Less than 5 years 12 days per year (8 hrs. per month)
5 years but less than 10 years 15 days per year (10 hrs. per month)
10 years but less than 15 years 18 days per year (12 hrs. per month)
15 years but less than 20 years 21 days per year (14 hrs. per month) - An employee receives 10-11 paid holidays annually.
- Retirement benefits are provided by the Local Government System for employees. Employees contribute 6% of their annual salary to their retirement. After five years of service employees are vested.
- The County contributes 4% of gross salary into the 401 (k) Plan of employees
