Our Approach

Changent’s approach is built on trusted community partnerships, backed by an infrastructure of support, and driven by the need for a more comprehensive system of care. Our approach ensures that our partners can focus on delivering the quality services that will meet the needs of their communities – translating our proven programs into direct local impact.

Built on trusted partnerships with communities

Children and families deserve to have access to the most effective, relationship-based services so that they may grow and thrive where they live. Changent partners with communities experiencing health inequities to bring our two flagship programs – Child First and Nurse-Family Partnership – to places and families who will benefit the most. We partner with communities and organizations where leaders, parents, advocates, and providers actively seek out and support long-term partnerships and invest in solutions that promote family and child well-being, especially in the earliest years.

Research-backed and tested programs

Together with our community-based partners, we deliver data-driven and research-backed programs that have been shown to achieve positive outcomes for children and families. Both Child First and Nurse-Family Partnership are built on the science of human and brain development, grounded in the highest quality research (including randomized controlled trials), and designed for replication of outcomes – resulting in increased impact for communities, families and children.

Quality & consistent program delivery, backed by Changent’s infrastructure

To translate our programs into direct impact for families and communities, Changent brings decades of implementation experience and offers a range of services and resources to support our community-based partners in delivering these programs on the ground. From training and education, clinical and program consultation to technical assistance, data analysis, and program evaluation – Changent’s infrastructure of support ensures our programs are delivered to the same standard wherever they are offered to achieve long-term, positive change.
